Bayou City Arts Festival

How's this for posting recently taken pictures!! This past weekend was the Arts Festival here in Houston. The weather was great and we had a good time. Avery is still at the point were the balloons and colored tape wrapped around poles holds her attention, but we enjoyed looking at some great art, sculpture, etc. and being out and enjoying the weather before it gets intolerable

The sun was shinning as you can see, but the wind was pretty chilly at times. Always have a blanket in the car!!

Time out for some lunch.

"Bird house shopping...what to get, what to get". We actually decided on the little red and orange house at the far right in the picture.

From the looks of this, we won't be heading to any gator farms anytime soon.

Coming Soon...New blog title?

Ok, so here's a post for all of those loyal blog checkers who may not have heard...the Radford clan is expanding and therefore may require a new blog name. Avery is now a big sister. Now whether she'll have a little brother or little sister, we don't know yet. But unfortunately for me, I'll have even more pictures and posts to keep up with. This could get ugly, so I apologize way, way in advance.

Read the shirt!

This ultrasound was taken at 11 weeks. The next ones we post will be the ones that determine the sex of the baby.

Christmas Day!!

The big day finally arrived. If you can believe it, we got Avery to sleep until about 9:30, after waking up at 6:00 on Christmas morning. Never again I'm sure. What can I say, she's a sucker for a good snuggle with mommy and daddy in bed.

Looks like Santa really enjoyed his treat. And the reindeers even got some goodies. Ozzie was kind enough to share his doggie treats.

Now let's see, whose idea was this gift?

Christmas in Georgia

Even though we spent a week in GA, I'm cuttin' right to the chase and posting the Christmas Eve and Christmas morning pics. Enjoy!

We seem to have an odd tradition of waiting until Christmas Eve to take pictures with Santa Clause. It seems to be the way to go. We usually don't have to wait more than 15 minutes or so. And luckily Avery is a good sport and isn't afraid of Santa.

What's Christmas Eve without a reading of "The Night Before Christmas"?

Helping Auntie Ana make cookies for Santa.

Helping Mimi sugar the bourbon balls.

Thanksgiving in BR

Ok, so clearly getting new posts and pictures onto Avery's blog has been a bit neglected to say the least. Here are a few pics from Thanksgiving in BR.

Avery absolutely loves horses, especially when she gets to ride them. Here she is with her Uncle David, having the time of her life.

While we were back home in BR, we took a tour of McIlhenny's Tabasco facilities on, where else but...Avery Island.
