Grooving
"So, you're not gonna go to law school. What do you wanna do then?"
"I wanna dance!"
(it's never to early to quote Dazed and Confused.)

Field Sobriety Test
Sorry about the unacceptable time between posts. It has been a busy time on many fronts. Avery just turned 1, and just recently she has shown her first signs of really wanting to try to walk. This clips shows you what we're seeing these days.

No Babysitter, No Problem
When you can't find a babysitter, there are always other options.
Avery was not too sure about this method of parenting...
...but she understands that it's for the best.
This box looks a little more fun, but it's not a trustworthy babysitter
No need to google it, I've added the links here for your convenience:
Here you go and Here's another good one

This past weekend some family from Baton Rouge came to Houston. We spent Saturday afternoon enjoying all the goodies that the Greek Festival had to offer. Avery was in heaven with her piece of bread, while Abram refused his adoring fans.

Tailgate for Texas Tech
Nicole was working, but Avery and I managed to make an appearance at the tailgate of Rice v. Texas Tech. Here are a few shots
Don't mind the middle finger, we were having a good time.
A perfect daddy-daughter pic, but it was later pointed out that sporting a Jagermeister shirt might not have been the best way to go.
Avery working the crowd.
Avery getting tired of the crowd.
We left around halftime of the game after putting in a solid hour at the tailgate. I've officially passed the torch, as this is how I used look after a tailgate, as well.
